Coast Salish Science & Policy
Coast Salish Science & Policy provides access to conferences, workshops, and other events that address environmental impacts upon human health, traditional rights, and cultural sustainability of the Coast Salish Peoples. A Conference Committee was established in 2007.
Puget Sound Georgia Basin Conference - A Coast Salish Perspective
There were more than 1,100 scientists, technicians, politicans and other participants at the Puget Sound Georgia Basin Ecosystem Conference in Seattle, February 8–11, 2009.
The theme was The Future of the Salish Sea: A Call to Action. Coast Salish leaders served as a key guiding force at the conference.
